Basic elements in control systems – Transfer function - Open and closed loop systems – Transfer function analysis of Electrical and mechanical systems - Block diagram reduction techniques – Signal flow graphs.

Time response – Time domain specifications – Response of First order and Second order for unit step input - Frequency response –Bode plot-Polar plot – gain margin and phase margin. Design of P, PI, PD, PID Control
