AMPLIFIERS AND SWITCHING CIRCUITS

Transformer coupled Class A, Class B, Class C and push-pull confuguration – crossover distortion. Multistage Amplifiers – Cascade and Darlington connection – Differential amplifier – Common and differential mode analysis. Multivibrator– Monostable, astable multivibrator and bistable multivibrator – Schmitt trigger.

FEEDBACK AMPLIFIERS AND OSCILLATORS

Advantages of negative feedback – voltage / current-series /shunt feedback –positive Feedback –Condition for oscillations, Design and testing of RC phase shift Oscillator – Wien bridge, Hartley, Colpitts and Crystal oscillators.
