Linear models for classification

A linear classifier is a model that makes a decision to categories a set of data points to a discrete class based on a linear combination of its explanatory variables. As an example, combining details about a dog such as weight, height, colour and other features would be used by a model to decide its species.

Apriori Algorithm

Apriori is an algorithm for frequent item set mining and association rule learning over relational databases. It proceeds by identifying the frequent individual items in the database and extending them to larger and larger item sets as long as those item sets appear sufficiently often in the database.
